general policies
* Please arrive a few minutes early for your appointment to complete any required consultation. We also ask that you allow suitable time for parking.
* Please set your mobile phone to ‘silent’ mode.
* For all our yummy mummies, we kindly ask that if you are bringing your child into the salon with you, that they are under the supervision of another adult over 18.
* All gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from purchase date.
* Lost or stolen gift cards are not replaceable. Gift cards are not redeemable as cash and are not refundable.
* All gift vouchers must be presented in clinic when redeeming.
* To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit is required of $1.25 for regular clients & 25% for new clients via online bookings
* Prices are guideline only and can vary depending on the staff member and the service performed in the salon.
* Treatment times are only a guide and will vary client to client
* The Beauty Bar is happy to accept returns within 14 days of purchase however, the product must be unopened and can be exchanged only with a valid proof of purchase.
cancellation policy
* You can cancel or change your booking online in My Booking History up to 24 hours in advance of your visit with no extra charge. However if you fail to adhere to the cancellation policy as stated under the terms and conditions the business has the right to charge you the balance of your booking amount left to pay in the salon by way of your online payment method.
* If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours, 50% of the booking is required
* If you reschedule your appointment within 24 hours 25% of the booking is required
* If you arrive more than 10 minutes late you will need to reschedule your appointment, this will also include the 25% reschedule fee
* All no shows will require full payment
Please note you receive a confirmation text message 48hours in advance to cancel or change your appointment
All appointments can be amended or change online using the booking system
Payments can be made via direct debit or via our system
No further appointments will be made until the payment is complete

The Beauty Bar Membership
Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern all memberships offered by The Beauty Bar. By enrolling in any membership, you agree to the following terms.
Membership Term
All memberships operate on an ongoing basis and will continue until cancelled by either the Member or The Beauty Bar in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Cancellation
Members may cancel their membership at any time by providing one (1) month's written notice.
Membership payments and benefits will continue during the notice period. No refunds will be issued for payments already processed, except as required under the Australian Consumer Law.
Any unused membership benefits or service credits will expire upon cancellation unless otherwise stated in your membership.
Cooling-Off Period
If you join your membership online or away from the salon premises (for example, over the phone), you may cancel within 14 days of joining and receive a full refund, provided no membership benefits, treatments, or credits have been used.
Cooling-off requests must be submitted in writing to reception@thebeautybar.com.au.
Payments
Membership fees are charged automatically using the payment method supplied at the time of joining.
The payment frequency is determined by your selected membership.
It is the Member's responsibility to ensure payment details remain current. If a payment fails, membership benefits may be suspended until the outstanding payment has been resolved.
Membership Benefits
Membership inclusions vary depending on the membership selected.
Glow, Radiance & Illuminate Memberships
Included monthly treatments must be redeemed within the applicable billing period.
Unused treatments or membership benefits do not roll over and will expire at the end of each billing cycle.
Treatments cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another person, or redeemed outside the applicable billing period.
The Beauty Bar Membership Credit
Members receive the nominated weekly service credit, which is added to their account while their membership remains active.
Membership Credits may only be redeemed towards eligible salon services.
Membership Credits cannot be used towards retail products, gift vouchers, or membership fees.
Membership Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
Any remaining Membership Credit will expire upon cancellation of the membership.
Retail Discounts
Retail discounts apply only while the membership remains active.
Glow Members receive 10% off retail purchases.
Radiance Members receive 15% off retail purchases.
Illuminate Members receive 20% off retail purchases.
Membership Credit Members receive 5% off retail purchases.
Retail discounts:
Cannot be combined with any other promotion or offer.
Exclude gift vouchers and already discounted products unless otherwise stated.
Booking & Appointments
All appointments are subject to availability.
Members must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Failure to provide the required notice may result in the forfeiture of the included treatment or applicable cancellation fees in accordance with The Beauty Bar's cancellation policy.
Membership Freeze
Members may request to freeze their membership for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 3 months within any 12-month period.
Freeze requests must be submitted in writing with 30 days' notice.
Membership benefits cannot be used while a membership is frozen.
Illuminate Membership Requirements
The Illuminate Membership includes advanced corrective skin treatments and is suitable for clients who have prepared their skin appropriately.
To participate in the Illuminate Membership, clients must be following a professional homecare programme as recommended by The Beauty Bar, including the use of Vitamin A, Vitamin B and Vitamin C skincare where appropriate. The Beauty Bar reserves the right to recommend a preparation period before commencing advanced treatments to ensure client safety and optimal treatment outcomes.
Birthday Benefits
Birthday gifts and birthday facials must be redeemed during the Member's birthday month unless otherwise advised by The Beauty Bar.
Birthday benefits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
Membership Conduct
Memberships are for individual use only and are non-transferable.
The Beauty Bar reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership in cases of abusive, inappropriate, fraudulent, or unacceptable behaviour.
Changes to Memberships
The Beauty Bar may amend membership pricing, inclusions, or these Terms & Conditions by providing at least 30 days' written or electronic notice.
If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your membership before the changes take effect.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
